[Source] EPA Invites Robinson To Serve on Clean Air Act Advisory Committee
FRAMINGHAM – State Representative Maria Robinson (D-Framingham) has been invited by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to serve as a member on the Clean Air Act Advisory Committee (CAAAC) for a term ending in August of 2021.
“It is an honor to represent the state perspective on this committee,” said Robinson. “States hear directly from constituents about clean air issues in a way that the federal government may not appreciate; I take seriously my responsibility to uphold the Clean Air Act and ensure a healthy environment for residents of the Commonwealth and the country.”
The Committee is a senior-level policy committee that was established in 1990 to advise the U.S. EPA on issues related to implementing the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.
